knitty is the best!! i have been wanting to dye my own yarn with kool-ade for quite some time now, so when i saw kristy's article about it, i was so stoked!! i bought some yarn, though (very bad knitter!!) i don't know what it is and it now sits at home in my crafty corner while i am at work blogging. but it is a superwash wool in an off-white already in a hank, so it should turn out great.

a place of our own so the boyfriend and i are moving into our first apartment right now. we have been looking forward to this for two years, so is VERY big news. he manages a center for a major corporation, so they are giving us an apartment, rent and utilities included. so awesome! only bad news, no one has taken care of this place for over a year. yuck doesn't even begin to describe it.

completed object!! my bump city bag is complete!! i knit mine with two strands held together, a rosey pink cotton and varigated red heart yarn that i had stashed from my days as the damages girl at a very large Michael's. i ran out of the varigated after the second side of the bag and had to make the strap with another yarn, a solid green. i ended up knitting the strap like this: cast on 80
